Living On Campus Has Its Rewards!
Oklahoma State University's Department of Residential Life will reward students who return to live in the residence halls with several loyalty programs.
Residential Life is proud to introduce the 1, 2, 3 Reward Program. The 1, 2, 3 Reward Program gives students returning to the halls a discount. Sophomores will receive a 1% discount on their housing contract, a 2% discount for juniors, and a 3% discount for seniors and graduate students.

Residential Life is also introducing FREE PARKING to all residents who return to ANY of the 25 residence halls. Students will still have to go on-line to register and pay for their parking permit, but Residential Life will reimburse them fully for this charge. This is in addition to the 1, 2, 3 Reward Program.
In the late 1980's, Residential Life instituted the Priority Single Program. Priority Singles are rooms in the traditional halls that are available at a greatly reduced rate. Students are able to live in a double room as a single for little more than a double room rate. Last year alone, over 300 students took advantage of this offer for a combined savings of over $400,000.

The holiday season is upon us and we ask that you help conserve electricity on campus by taking these simple but effective steps before you go home: turn off all lights, unplug all items except for refrigerators, aquariums, and phones, lower room blinds, set thermostat to heat, temperature to 60, and fan to auto, and leave ceiling fans running at a medium speed.
Stillwater and the campus community are safe and comfortable environments. However, even in the safest places we suggest that you take precautions to keep yourself and your property free from damage and harm. Here are some ways you can keep the holiday season safe for you and your community:
-Always lock your room door and keep your keys and ID with you at all times
-When walking through parking areas or dimly lit areas of campus, call friends to meet you and then walk back to the building together
-If you do not know someone as a resident, never hold the door for them in limited access halls
-Never prop building exterior doors
-Report door or building maintenance concerns to your staff members or front desk immediately
-Remember that if you are feeling unsafe in your building or on campus you can call your community Front Desk or OSU Police Department at any time for help.
