This is the Life is a two-day, one-night event (April 5-6, 2008) where high school seniors share the life of a current OSU student for the weekend.  Participants will take part in events throughout the weekend and spend the night in a residence hall with you.  Your major role is to expose participants to life in the halls and be a positive representative of the OSU experience.

You will lead a participant in campus and residence hall tours, share your residential community with them, participate in headline events including This is the Life Happens at the Union alongside them, and help them network with other prospective OSU students. Four meals and a t-shirt are our gift to you for hosting a participant.

Hosts are expected to be responsible representations of OSU and residence living and transmit positive attitudes about both to participants.  This is the Life is designed to recruit prospective students to OSU and to the residential halls and hosts are expected to be constructively supportive of these goals.  There will be a host training session shortly before event.
